Not In It to Win It: Week 1 - One Nation Under God

Not In It to Win It: Week 1 - One Nation Under God

Some of us have allowed politics to get in the way of the real win. Some of us have fallen for the trap of fear when Christ says fear not. Some of us have fallen into demonizing the other side, completely destroying our ability to be “all things to all people” for that side. Some of us have become so polarized that we cannot live out the commands of Jesus. Jesus did not come to “win”. Jesus came to lose. And Jesus now invites us into a new way of winning.

How can we take a stand the right way? How do we view politics through the lens of faith? And is it even possible to disagree politically and love unconditionally? When it comes to potentially polarizing topics, our posture, tone, and approach will tell others all they need to know about what’s most important to us.
