Marriage Mentoring is for married and premarital couples, designed to improve your communication, help you find your way through difficult times and discover ways to deepen your relationship. We have trained mentor couples who care deeply about seeing your marriage become all that God intended. Events

Adventures in Marriage is a fun, practical, and critically acclaimed marriage enrichment program.

The workshops focus on building the skills needed for a couple to bond in healthy ways – to remain connected even in the face of difficult conversations and differing perspectives. Through interactive sessions, couples are guided through practical exercises and share valuable insights with one another.

Times: Friday, March 14h 6:30pm-9:00pm & Saturday, March 15th 8:30am-4:00pm

Cost: $129 per couple, includes meals and materials.


FAQs

What is marriage mentorship?

It is a biblically based program called Dare to Be Different, designed to help couples work through challenges they are facing in their marriage in a safe and confidential environment. 

Is this a teaching curriculum?

This is not designed to teach, nor is it a replacement for clinical or pastoral counseling. It is designed to be a practical hands-on method to learn how to resolve issues in your marriage.

Is it biblically based?

You will discover biblical principles to apply to your marriage and gain insight from real-life stories from your mentors.

How long is the program?

You will meet with a mentor couple once a week for up to 10 weeks (never to exceed 12 weeks). Each session is approximately 1 1/2 hours long.

Are there tools to help us through the process?

Initially, an online assessment is taken to discover your relational health and understand the personal needs you have as a couple. Each person receives one workbook with weekly session logs. Homework will be given each week to develop new habits and behaviors in a loving and supportive environment.

What are the benefits to being mentored?

  • Learn how to resolve issues by 'rounding the bases'.

  • Discover biblical principles to apply to your marriage.

  • Gain insight from real-life stories from your mentors.

  • Tools and learning can be applied well after mentoring is over.

What topics are covered in mentoring?

There are 10 core topics covered, one each session. There are additional topics for pre-marital couples and those that are remarried.
