Impact Church is honored to partner with St. Paul United Methodist and the sykesville rotary club in blessing families this Christmas season. 

During this difficult time, we have made it our mission to be a church that makes a difference!  One small way we can support our community is through the Angel Tree Program.  In partnership with local area schools and churches, we have identified around 200 kids from low income households whose parents or guardians truly need our help this season to make Christmas possible.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Review the gift suggestions turned in by the child’s family.

  • Scan the QR code on your tag to sign up under the child you picked from the tree.

  • Check out with the host team.

  • Shop!

  • Return all gifts unwrapped to Impact Church on or before Friday, December 15th.

  • Join us for wrapping day on Saturday, December 16th starting at 10AM.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

  • Unwrapped. Please do not wrap gifts in advance. We want to coordinate each family equally and ensure that gifts are safe and appropriate.

  • New. All gifts donated should be brand new. We will not accept used items.

  • Budget. We understand everyone’s budget available for donations will range. As a suggestion, staying around $50-$80 per child is helpful so that children adopted from the same family remain consistent. If you feel that the suggested amount is too high, please know that anything you can donate is hugely appreciated and will make a thoughtful difference in the lives of these kids! If for some reason a family’s donations appear unequal, the church will supplement as needed. Likewise, going over the amount suggested and providing large gifts can put us in a difficult position to ensure other children in that family receive more if they do not have a matching amount.

  • No gift cards. We want the Christmas experience to be fun and meaningful to the child’s wishes or age. If you are struggling with gift ideas based on what the family turned in, please feel free to reach out for ideas!

  • Balance. We encourage both clothing and needs for the family, but also “fun” that can brighten the child’s day.

  • Label. When returning gifts, keep all items for the same child in a large bag or box with a clear label of your child's assigned number and your name.

  • Donations. Donations toward the Angel Tree fund are being accepted at www.impatchurchmd.com (select the give tab and use Angel Tree dropdown). We also would appreciate donations of boxes for wrapping day!
